Assistant Account Executive

The Assistant Account Executive position provides an excellent opportunity for an individual who wants to work on issues related to public health, strategic communications, and community outreach and engagement. The position requires some local travel. Spanish language proficiency is a plus.Highlights and ResponsibilitiesYou will: Support all aspects of client work. Coordinate tasks or projects, including developing timelines and task charts. Provide logistics, travel and reporting support for meetings, teleconferences, focus groups, photo shoots and other events. Research cost information for materials, equipment and services as needed. Schedule meetings with clients, staff and partners. Support virtual meetings with clients and the public through platforms such as Adobe Connect, GoToMeeting or join.me. Communicate by email and telephone with clients, vendors and partners. Record and track contract deliverables, mailings and purchase orders. Update and improve filing systems, including master copies of products and other deliverables. Manage and update partner and work group contact lists. Lead setup and production of monthly reports. Assist in materials development and production, including writing, conducting research, fact-checking, coordinating reviews, formatting and proofreading. Participate in the development of culturally and linguistically appropriate educational materials for diverse audiences. Write content for print and digital media, such as web copy and social media messages. Support the provision of training and technical assistance activities for grassroots organizations and advocates. Coordinate timely submission of administrative forms, timesheets and travel expenses.
